|  . I don't want to carry my gear on my back while riding but I do want to bring it (at least a body and a couple lenses, anyhow). I decided that for a motorcycle camera bag, KTM's tank bag would be best:
I have some diced foam left over from my transit case that I can use to line the bag:

Here it is cut out to fit:
I may have to rethink this arrangement. I was hoping to fit a bit more. Still have to find a way to pack the tripod..... Anyhow, here is the tank bag strapped to the bike:
I also added a little tail bag for a bit more storage (lunch?). It is held on with this "horseshoe"
Finally, here it is all put together.
Although I hadn't planned on doing this particular modification this year, I had a change of heart and decided to give George's Garage some more buisness after all:
Titanium and carbon fiber - doesn't get any sweeter than that!
The old ones were really heavy! What a difference!
It was a pretty straight forward installation - three bolts and two springs per side.

That's it! Now if only all this damned snow would melt so I can go for a ride!........
