Next change is to this fender. It is just too low and the first mud patch is likely to plug it up.

Luckily, KTM has a high fender kit available. However, there is one small problem. The dual disc brakes are tied common at the left side caliper. You can see in this image how the brake line runs up over the fender and down to the caliper on the other side:
That means this brake line will have to be rerouted when the fender is removed. I am an electronics technician and installer and this, frankly, is outside of my confidence zone. So for this mod, I've recruited Mr. Jim Browne to give me an hand!
So, off with the fender and old brake line:
New fork guards are installed and the new line is run from the master cylinder down the right hand fork:
The bike is re-assembled and the new high fender is installed! I must say, I really like this look. Makes the bike look taller:
