The weather turned overcast and chilly and considering I have to cut into the trailer walls, I was concerned about rain so I moved the build indoors: |
Although the speakers are not huge, they are big enough that I want to be sure the brackets are solidly mounted. This trailer is make of fibreglass so I have to make sure the screws hit the aluminum frame. I was hoping the studfinder would work - and it did:
Leveling it up:
Pilot holes are drilled and silicone sealant is put around these holes:
And the brackets are screwed down:
Next, I need to mark a template to cut:
And the square is cut through the fibreglass-insulation-inner wall:
