Next is to get the power wiring done.

First, I eliminated the adapter and shortened the cable run for the P4 connection:

Then cut off the existing connectors and all of this dayglo crap:

I bought a bag of right angle SATA power connectors from ADPmods.   Great service - had the parts overnight.
