[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] | Next, was the two high speed exhaust fans. I ty-wrapped them together and used them to mark and drill the mounting holes. Using these holes as a reference, I determined the centers to make a pilot for the big 3" holesaw.
I've read other people who just used the jigsaw to cut holes like these but, since they are going to be visible, I wanted them perfectly round (thus the holesaw)
The fans were installed. Again using the rubber washers to prevent vibration.
Although I forgot to take a picture, I also had to cut a large rectangular hole in the chasis where the fans go.
